Smart City for Social Cohesion Project

In this episode, City of Maribyrnong’s Mayor, Anthony Tran, recounts the City’s smart city journey so far with the establishment of their Smart City for Social Cohesion Project (SC2). 

The project led to the integration of a range smart technologies for the community including:

Expanded Free Public Wifi across Footscray CBD and Footscray Park

• Smart City Kiosks in three locations

• Movement Counters in various locations

• Environmental Sensors

• Smart Public Lighting

• Smart Data Platform

 As well as the adoption of a Smart City Strategic Framework + Implementation Plan.
