ONLINE SEMINARS #SMART LEARNING SERIES
We deliver 10-15 online seminars annually:
#ASCASmartLearning - to facilitating learning opportunities for members on the key and niche areas of creating a smart community.
#ASCASmartProjects - sharing lessons and case studies of projects to help smart community leaders with their initiatives.
We encourage our members to utilise these seminars as a lunch and learn. They are a great way to engage and inform the broader staff within member organisations on smart communities. Past webinar recordings are available for members to watch at all times in the ASCA Member's Portal.
Attendance is complimentary for members, non-members pay an attendance fee of $35.00 per attendee per online seminar. View our events listing here.
ACTION FORUMS / ADVOCACY
Member organisations are encouraged to share experience, influence policy and the public agenda by allocating one representative on each Action Forum. Contribute to the future of smart community policy, advocacy and education by participating in an ASCA Action Forum. Members meet online once month. This is designed to ensure that regional and city members can equally contribute. You will be expected to attend each meeting and volunteer no more than four hours per month. Learn more here. LOCAL MEMBER MEET-UPS
ASCA members receive a 30% discount to ASCA face to face events. These are held in capital cities various times of the year. If your organisation would like to host, or speak at a meet up, please contact us. Learn more here.
PROMOTION AND VISIBILITY on ASCA WEBSITE/EVENTS
ASCA Members are listed on the Meet our Members page. Non-Government members who are within the membership category of above 51 million are provided with additional promotional items to thank them for their financial contribution. These items are: Your logo on our homepage, linking to an ASCA Hosted web page which includes key information about your company and your services. Your logo included in our e-news and displayed at face to face ASCA Local Member Meet Ups. This does not include the ASCA Conference or National Tour.
SUBMIT CONENT INTO ASCA WEEKLY E-NEWS
We encourage our members to contribute to our knowledge base and communications. Please send any relevant content to firstname.lastname@example.org. Examples of the content we are looking for is industry reports, success stories, lessons learnt, awards being won, relevant policy announcements, new hires, job advertisements, strategy releases.
COMPLIMENTARY EVENT LISTING
Is your organisation hosting an event? We will gladly list this event for you on our ASCA Industry events page. To do this email a 200-400 word overview, a hero image, a title, a link to the registrations page/or how to register. These details should be sent to - email@example.com Non-members pay a fee of $200 for each event to be posted on the Industry events page.
COMPLIMENTARY JOB LISTING
Looking to hire a new gun? Our database is FULL of smart community experts. Attract the best of the best by promoting your role via the ASCA Smart Communities Job Advertisement Board. Listings are only valid for a 30 day period to ensure that they remain up to date and relevant. Non members will pay a $200, 30-day listing fee.
Access the ASCA members portal, this includes a listing of local and international smart cities policies and guidance notes, links to past ASCA online seminar recordings and much more.
ASCA BREAKY, BRUNCH OR LUNCH N’ LEARN
This event series is member run. What does that mean? Well, exactly that.
Members of our Smart Community can apply to host their own events, for ASCA Members. The events must meet certain criteria, and acting as a host within the program is by approval only. Please read here for more information about this service.
