Smart Cities roadshow: Building the cities of tomorrow

The Australian Smart Communities Association (ASCA) welcomes its new partnership with the Public Sector Network (PSN) to support the Smart Cities Series being held in six Australian locations during August and September.

As part of this partnership, PSN is offering ASCA's government, RDA, NFP and R&D members 25 percent discount to the events, which will be held in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth. Download the brochure.

Hosted by KPMG, the series will benchmark the key smart city challenges faced by organisations in each state, and develop a national report on the findings.

The program features keynotes and panels on the role of digital in creating smart communities, creating effective partnerships, as well as roundtable sessions focusing on smart infrastructure, smart precincts, smart services, smart planning, smart financing and smart data.

ASCA Vice President Brook Dixon said the partnership with PSN was very exciting, and was part of ASCA's commitment to delivering value to its members, and promoting digital transformation.

“This Smart Cities Series brings together smart city experts including federal, state, and local government, innovators, thinkers, financiers, educational and research institutions, and technology providers and gives ASCA members another avenue to network and discuss how we can achieve our goals.”

The PSN is a research company that represents public sector professionals across Australia and New Zealand and develops roundtables, seminars, and conferences to suit current areas of interest. Its members span across Federal, State, and Local government departments, healthcare, and education, allowing members to share information, access the latest in government innovation, and engage with other like-minded individuals on a secure network.
