Experiences Developing Smart City Data Strategy

New smart city technologies generate lots of data - pedestrian movement, cctv, lighting, environmental and other data are just some examples. This data is a valuable resource that can be tapped by councils and communities to gain new insights and provide new and improved services.

Managing, using this data and making it available to those who can benefit from it are challenges that all councils will face. Fortunately some councils have already been tackling this - this webinar is an opportunity to hear their experiences in developing data strategies for their communities.

The webinar will be interactive with opportunities for members to ask questions of the panel.

Objectives:

Provide members with insights into the experiences of councils who have developed or are developing data strategies.

Speakers:

TBC

The webinar will be moderated by Peter Runcie, Vice President of ASCA and Future Cities Leader at CSIRO’s Data61.
